Creatonomy’s Kevin runs for charity

On the evening of Sunday, December 4, Kevin will run 13.1 miles on the Las Vegas strip in order to raise awareness and research funds for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

This will be Kevin’s six half marathon for charity. Other Creatonomy employees who have completed half marathons include Priya and Lisa, while Jordanne is working toward her first half marathon.

Creatonomy welcomes Jordanne to team

Things are looking sweet on Water Street. The Creatonomy team received a big shot of energy, fun and wider selection of great music in the office with the addition of Administrative Assistant Jordanne Kann-Helle.

She keeps the office running smoothly while working closely with team members and outside vendors. She’s our on-staff photographer, video technician and cake baker extraordinaire. Seriously, you’ll wish you worked here on your birthday.

Graduating magna cum laude in three and a half years, Jordanne is an alumni of UW-Milwaukee’s College of Letters and Science. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Media Communication and a certificate in Digital Arts and Culture.

Prior to working at Creatonomy, Jordanne worked at Lakeview Specialty Hospital. She also held internships with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Wisconsin and Zizzo Group Marketing + PR + New Media.

Creatonomy celebrates 11 years

2011 marks Creatonomy’s 11th year in business. The agency was founded on April 4, 2000 and Creatonomy moved to it’s current Water Street location in August 2000. (Although the address is the same, we’ve expanded our office space twice during the last decade.)

Thank you to all of the great clients, employees and friends who’ve contributed to our success over the past decade.

Did you know?

Lisa Pipia, who was the first Creatonomy employee hired by founder Priya Barnes, returned to the company in 2008 after living in several other Midwest cities. Lisa currently is Creatonomy’s Director of Client Services.

In the spirit of the 2010 holiday season, Creatonomy is giving back to the community of Milwaukee by supporting Running Rebels this holiday season. Since 1980, the Running Rebels Community Organization has been dedicated to developing Milwaukee’s youth mentally, physically and spiritually. By offering youth programs that focus on education and recreational activities, Running Rebels provides Milwaukee’s youth with positive alternatives to gangs and substance abuse.

Priya speaks at Aging Well Conference

Creatonomy president Priya Barnes presented at the 20th Annual Aging Well Conference at UW-Parkside on June 4, 2010. The conference was attended by those working in the fields of aging and gerontology.

Priya spoke on “Message Development for a New Generation” and discussed the latest ways to re-tool a company’s product and message development efforts in order to fit a new generation.
